Frequently Asked Questions Related to Gambling

Question: Why is it that with odds of 1 in 4, I can sometimes buy 10 tickets in a row and not get a winner?

Answer: Stated odds are based on the entire game. The Lottery does not know where winning tickets are placed. The program that determines random placement is audited.

Question: What are the names of some famous women poker players?

Answer: Annie Duke, Lavinna Zhang, Clonie Gowen, and Nani Dollison are just some of the many professional women poker players.

Question: What is a Sit and Go Tournament?

Answer: A sit and go tournament is a tournament that requires players to buy in with a certain fee. The combination of everyone's buy in creates the prize for whoever wins. Everyone is then given an equal amount of chips, which may be completely different from the buy in amount. The winner is the one who remains after everyone else loses their chips. For example, let's say there is a Sit and Go tournament with a buy-in of $10, and 10 people play. Everyone gets maybe 50 chips. The winner at the end wins the prize pool, a total of $100 ($10 x 10 people = $100)
